Anxiety is often the manifestation of stress and tension that comes from the daily struggles of human existence. Treating anxiety can be complex but should involve a therapy that acknowledges the struggles of human existence, and that takes a more positive forward-thinking approach to problem solving. It should encourage looking beyond the trivial and  point toward the bigger, more holistic picture of existence.

Goal Setting & Career Development

Choosing a career, changing careers, or just a lack of direction and satisfaction can plague so many areas of a person's public and private life. How many of us have wished for a better job or career but just did not know where to begin? Career counseling and goal setting can provide some answers for the next step. I offer career assessments, resume update and review. Most career counseling can be done in the course of 4-6 weeks and can provide an individual with confidence and direction. Career assessments are a good way to help determine an individuals personality fit, interest, and ability in certain careers and career fields. Some of the career assessment we offer are the: Strong Interest Inventory, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (with career report), Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation (FIRO-B), and others as need may indicate. Depression

Depression can take many forms and stem from different sources. Treatment is designed to help patients explore the full range of their emotions, including feelings they may not be aware of. By making the unconscious elements of their life a part of their present experience, counseling helps people understand how their behavior and mood are affected by unresolved issues and unconscious feelings.
